Strong, lint-free and 99.999% pure, PEC*PAD® wipes are soft and versatile enough to clean virtually any sensitive surface without scratching. The 4 x 4 inch size is perfect for 35mm film, slides and negatives, plus lenses, filters, binoculars, telescopes, scanners, CDs, mirrors, picture frames, plexiglass and even inkjet print heads.
Cleaning film, negatives and prints (with PEC-12®)
Lay the image on a light table or the emulsion side of a clean scrap RC print. Apply a few drops of fluid to a clean pad, then with light pressure from two or three extended fingers, sweep in one straight pass from end to end, lifting contaminants onto the pad. Stubborn marks like tape residue may need a second or third pass with a fresh pad and more fluid. If one light pass has no effect, the stain is likely water-based — further rubbing won’t help and risks damaging the emulsion. For heavily soiled areas (ink, oil, tape residue) use multiple pads to avoid smearing. Take extra care with 35mm chromogenic film, as the base scratches easily.
Cleaning lenses and optical glass (with ECLIPSE or AEROCLIPSE)
Apply several drops to a clean, folded pad and wipe lightly in a single direction, starting at the centre and working outwards. Always slide the pad off the edge of the lens, never back toward the centre — this prevents hazy swirls and lets you clean only the affected area. Handle pads as little as possible to minimise finger oils, and refold to a clean side before re-wiping.
Please note: PEC*PAD® wipes are not recommended for cleaning CCD or CMOS sensors in DSLR, mirrorless or cinema cameras. Any material used with excessive pressure can scratch, but normal, careful use gives scratch-free results every time.

Directions for use:
1. Take a wipe from the package
2. If necessary, apply a recommended cleaning fluid to the wipe
3. Gently clean the sensitive surface
4. Dispose of the wipe after use
